Tis the season to be seasoned
I've been busy harvesting a lot of walking stick wood from various tree species, from all around our 70 acre property. I like to use a folding saw for smooth cuts, and an electric chainsaw for quick felling. I harvest a variety of local Ozark woods, such as Hickory, Sassafras, Oak, Wild Black Cherry, Elm, Maple, Ash, etc.
In one of the images below, do you see how smoothly the end of the focused stick was cut? That's because it was cut with a folding saw instead of the chainsaw. You can custom order your personalized stick today just by filling out my order form:
Prices range from $40 to $60 for personalized hiking sticks, $40 if you pick up your stick in Omaha, Arkansas. When sticks are cut in the dormant season( October through February, they season quicker ) Where if I cut the sticks in the middle of summer, when the sap in the trees is very high, the sticks warp and develop large cracks, often rendering the sticks useless.
